Math & Teaching Seminar

 

The Math & Teaching Seminar did not meet in Spring 2012, 2013, or 2014.



    The Math & Teaching Seminar is a working seminar for faculty, graduate students, and others who want to think together about issues connected with teaching and learning in the mathematical sciences, especially at the collegiate level.

Each week, a "facilitator" organizes the topic for the week. For local speakers, at least, we expect the facilitator to arrange for background material appropriate for the discussion, arrange for a presentation at the beginning of the seminar, and lead the discussion during the seminar. The organizers welcome suggestions for topics for discussion in the seminar.
