Update on time: Indiana is on the Eastern Daylight Time (the same as New York).

Update: Titles and abstracts are here.

Another update: Program is here (there is a small change made on 10/9/06).

Lodging: Rooms can be reserved directly at the University Place hotel at the special rate of $120 (or $135 for a double room) by calling (800)-627-2700 and mentioning the Midwest Dynamics meeting in the Math Department. The hotel was recently renovated. Its website is www.universityplace.iupui.edu and the address is 850 West Michigan Street. Update: If you do not get the special rate, try www.indy.org, as described below, or the hotel site.

A cheaper option is Days Inn Downtown, 401 East Washington Street (1.6 miles away). Rooms can be reserved directly until September 13 by calling (317)-637-6464 and asking for the special Midwest Dynamics rate of $75 (single or double room), including parking and breakfast. The website is www.daysinn.com but you should first check the convention and visitors association site www.indy.org. Use the "Latest Indy Hot Hotel Deals" form and find in the results Days Inn Downtown - you may get a better rate this way.

Here is a map of Indy downtown. The coordinates of the Math Department are B4 (just to the right of the University Library), University Place is at B3 and Days Inn Downtown is at F5.

Update: For those that do not like walking too much, a convenient way of getting to the conference site from the Days Inn hotel is the Red Line.

Update on parking: If you come with a car, you can get $4/day parking passes at the meeting registration table in the IT building. You can pull up in the driveway at the Michigan Street entrance, just after the intersection with West Street. Note that University Place Hotel parking is $12/day but Days Inn parking is free.

Registration: You do not need to register to participate in the conference. However, if you want to receive financial support, we recommend you request it by September 15. Since our funds are limited, at this moment we cannot guarantee full support to all applicants. Nevertheless, we are optimistic. Update: We are less optimistic now about full support.

Location: The IUPUI campus is located very close to downtown Indianapolis. You can see it on the map above, and the links to more detailed campus maps are here.

Airports: Indianapolis is served by Indianapolis International Airport (3-letter code IND). Take a shuttle, limousine or taxi to the hotel (the distance is about 5 miles).
