Math Film Series - Colors of Math

Join the Math Club and the Department of Mathematics for a movie screening of: Colors of Math 

Ekaterina Eremenko will be flying in from Berlin, Germany, to discuss both movies, the perception of mathematics by general public, and the role math plays in life.

This beautiful film features a series of intimate monologues by mathematicians Jean-Michel Bismut, Anatoly Fomenko, Maxim Kontsevich, Aaditya Rangan, Cédric Villani, and Günter Ziegler about their personal and emotional involvement in the process of discovery.

Colors of Math was a success at the International Film Festival in Moscow in 2012 and at the Imagine Science Film Festival in New York City. It has also  shown in film festivals in Barcelona, the Czech Republic, Seoul, and Vladivostok.
