I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematical Sciences at IU Indianapolis, where I currently serve as Associate Chair and Director of Undergraduate Programs.

I completed my Ph.D. at Stanford University in 2007, where my advisor was Gunnar Carlsson. Before moving to Indianapolis in 2013, I spent four years as an Assistant Professor at New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, New Mexico, and two years as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Vanderbilt University.

Research Interests: Algebraic Topology and Algebraic K-theory.
I use techniques from K-theory, homotopy theory, and geometry to study representation spaces of infinite discrete groups. I'm also interested in large-scale geometry and assembly maps in algebraic K-theory.
